Thercore Interviews
Terms of Service
Last updated 5 October 2026
These terms cover using Thercore Interviews. They are short on purpose: the parts that matter are what you are responsible for, what we are responsible for, and what neither of us may do with the other's data.
1.The agreement
By creating an account or using Thercore Interviews you accept these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it, and “you” means that company.
2.Your account
Keep your credentials to yourself and your account details accurate. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at security@thercore.com if you think somebody else has got into it.
You must be at least 16, and you must not be barred from using the service under applicable law.
3.Candidate data is your responsibility
The most important clause here. When you put information about a candidate into Thercore, you are the data controller for it. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to hold it, for telling candidates what you are doing with it as the law requires, and for responding to their requests about it.
We process it on your instructions to provide the service, and for nothing else. Specifically, we do not sell it, share it with other customers, or use it to train machine-learning models.
4.Public job adverts
You can publish job adverts on Thercore, with a public page anybody can read and apply through. The content of an advert — its wording, the salary and benefits it states, the interview process it shows, and the company profile shown with it — is yours, and you are responsible for it being accurate and lawful, including not discriminating in who it invites to apply.
The people who apply are applying to you. Their applications come into your workspace, section 3 applies to them in full, and you are responsible for considering them and responding as the law requires. We will remove, or take offline, an advert that is unlawful or misleading, and will tell you why where we lawfully can.
5.What you may not do
- Use the service to break the law, or to discriminate unlawfully in hiring.
- Upload malware, or anything you have no right to upload.
- Attempt to reach another organization’s data, probe the service for weaknesses without written permission, or work around access controls.
- Resell or white-label the service without a written agreement.
- Automate access in a way that degrades the service for anyone else, or scrape it in bulk.
If you find a security problem, please report it to security@thercore.com rather than exploiting it. We will not pursue anybody who reports a genuine issue in good faith and gives us reasonable time to fix it.
6.The AI assistant
The assistant produces suggestions, drafts and summaries. It can be wrong. It is not a decision-maker, and nothing it produces should be treated as a hiring decision, legal advice, or an assessment of a person. A human being is accountable for every hiring decision made with this product.
7.Who owns what
You keep everything you put in. We keep the software. You grant us only the licence needed to host, process and display your data so the service works — nothing broader.
8.Availability
We aim to keep the service running and to back it up daily, but we do not promise a particular level of uptime unless we have agreed one with you in writing. We may change or withdraw features, and will give reasonable notice before removing something you rely on.
9.Ending it
You may stop and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why where we lawfully can.
After an account is closed we delete its data as described in the Privacy Policy. Export anything you want to keep first.
10.Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits or data. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, which cannot be limited by law.
11.Changes
We will give notice in the product before material changes take effect. Carrying on using the service afterwards means accepting them.
12.Contact
Questions about these terms: support@thercore.com. Security reports: security@thercore.com. How we handle personal data is in the Privacy Policy.
